Oura membership cost: monthly, annual and three-year totals

The ring price is only the start. Check the membership bill separately, then add hardware without mixing currencies.

Definition

Oura Membership is the recurring plan for detailed insights on Gen3 and newer rings; it is separate from buying the hardware.

Bottom line

Oura lists US$5.99/month or US$69.99/year in the US, and €5.99/month or €69.99/year in the EU; budget for the ring as well.

Read these as membership fees, not a ring offer

The table below covers full paid years at the rates checked on 8 October 2026. It does not include hardware, taxes, optional services or future price changes. USD and EUR rows are separate regional schedules, not an exchange-rate conversion. Your billing region, not the language of this website, determines the applicable plan; check Membership Hub for other countries.

Twelve monthly payments are 71.88; one annual payment is 69.99 in the corresponding USD or EUR schedule. No currency conversion is used.

The first year can differ

New members receive one included month starting when they pair the ring. In a simple first-12-month scenario, that leaves 11 monthly charges, not the 12 used in our full-paid-year table. Annual billing buys a full paid year after the included month. Replacing a ring on an existing account does not restart the introductory month, so new-buyer and upgrade budgets need different assumptions.

Monthly or annual: flexibility is the real trade-off

At the reviewed rates, twelve monthly payments cost 1.89 more than one annual payment in the same currency. That is a small saving; we would not commit for a year purely for that difference while still deciding whether to use the app. Annual plans are paid upfront and canceled annual plans do not receive partial refunds after the introductory period. Monthly billing costs slightly more but makes it easier to stop paying sooner.

Add the hardware price you can actually buy

For a new purchase, add the verified local ring price to the plan scenario you choose. Our product records use dated USD hardware references, so a Dutch membership fee in euros should not be added directly to a USD ring price. Compare shipping, finish, size and returns at checkout. A charger replacement or optional partner service belongs in your own budget, not an assumed universal total.

An upgrade is not another membership

Membership follows the Oura account when you pair a replacement ring. If you already pay, the useful upgrade question is the additional hardware cost and any accessories, not whether to count two plans. Keep the same account for your existing history. Lifetime membership is an exception for eligible older accounts, not a plan a new buyer can currently purchase.

Frequently asked questions

01

Can I use Oura without paying membership?

Yes, but access is limited to three daily scores and basic ring and app information rather than the detailed insights many buyers want. Do not buy it expecting the full experience without the plan.

02

Does canceling delete my data?

Canceling membership is different from deleting your account. Oura says your data remains if the account is kept, and export through Membership Hub remains possible. Detailed access returns when you subscribe again.

03

Does the membership table include the free month?

No. It shows 12, 24 or 36 paid monthly periods, or one, two or three paid annual periods. Keeping the introduction separate makes the assumptions visible and avoids promising a discount to existing members.
