Ultrahuman and Abu Dhabi begin biological-health-age research

A two-year agreement combines clinical biomarkers and wearable data. It is a research and validation project, not a newly available smart-ring feature.

What the agreement covers

On 12 October, the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre announced an agreement with Ultrahuman to develop and clinically validate a biological-health-age model. The two-year research framework combines clinical biomarkers with wearable data, including sleep, cardiovascular, metabolism and recovery signals.

What ring owners should not assume

The announcement does not establish a released consumer feature, supported ring models, subscription terms or a rollout date. Buying a Ring AIR therefore does not guarantee access. No product specification or availability record has changed.

Evidence and privacy limits

The authorities describe intended preventive-health benefits, not completed validation results. They commit to keeping project data within Abu Dhabi under confidentiality and clinical oversight; that is not proof of a particular ring’s diagnostic accuracy. Treat biological-age estimates as research outputs, not medical advice.
